Crafted by Mauviel.  Measures 26 cm in diameter.  Made of copper.  Fitted with brass handles.  

This copper egg bowl is the ultimate tool for perfectly whisked egg whites.  The copper reacts with the egg whites to create nice, firm peaks—no cream of tartar necessary.  Before each use, we clean our egg bowl with a small amount of salt and the juice of half a lemon.  Use the lemon halve to scrub the inside to remove any oxidation.  Rinse with hot water and dry immediately.
